On September 30, 2025, communities across Canada will observe the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation — a time to reflect, learn, and honour the experiences of Indigenous peoples.
Here in Middlesex County, the Tipi Gathering at Celebration Event Facility & Museum will bring people together for a day of cultural teachings, storytelling, traditional foods, and community connection.
The schedule includes:
10:00 AM – Teachings and sharing
12:00 PM – Dance performance
2:00 PM – Traditional foods
4:00 PM – Drumming
6:00 PM – Closing and reflection
This gathering provides an opportunity to listen, learn, and join in meaningful experiences that honour the path toward reconciliation.
