As ice sports and activities are at the heart of Canada, Middlesex County boasts some of the most state of the art ice pads in all of Southwestern Ontario. Home to many talented athletes within the realm of hockey, figure skating and more. Whether you are looking to take in the excitement of a competitive game, rent some ice time for a local league, or take the family for a public skate, these arenas take pride in getting the community involved and value the talent that crosses their path. 

Gemini Sportplex

Gemini Sportsplex is a twin-pad ice facility that offers amenities for meetings, conferences, and special events. In the past, we have been pleased to host events such as NHL Alumni games, the World Curling Championship, the Ontario Indoor Speed Skating Championship, and the World U-17 Hockey Challenge.

Glencoe Arena

Glencoe Arena is located in Glencoe Ontario. It offers a single ice pad arena with rooms available for meetings and events. Ice is available between the fall and winter for figure skating, public skating and hockey.

Ilderton Arena & Curling Club

The Ilderton Arena opened in 1972 and contains one ice pad that is shared with a four sheet curling facility (privately run), meeting room, main hall, and a daycare facility (privately run). The Ilderton Arena ice pad measures approximately 80’x180’ and includes 5 change rooms and a seating capacity of up to 500 spectators.

Komoka Wellness & Recreation Centre

The Komoka Wellness & Recreation Centre opened in 2011. The facility boasts two NHL-sized ice rinks with nine change rooms. The facility also contains a fitness centre with an indoor walking track and a large gymnasium (operated by the YMCA of Southwestern Ontario), a library (operated by the County of Middlesex), and a number of activity and multi-purpose rooms.

Lucan Community Memorial Centre & Arena

Lucan Community Memorial Centre is an indoor, 1,600 seat arena located in the township of Lucan Biddulph in Ontario, Canada. The main user of the arena is the Lucan Irish and Lucan Minor Hockey. Along with the ice rink there is an auditorium, gymnasium and a small hall known as the Leprechaun Hall.

The FlightExec Centre

The FlightExec Centre is the heart of the town's recreation, culture and parks system. It contains two rink pads, an indoor walking track, indoor gymnasium, outdoor court, baseball diamonds and more.

Tri-Township Arena

The Tri Township Arena is an organization governed by a board of directors and is a partnership with the Anishinaabeg of the territory of Deshkaan Ziibing, also known as Chippewas of the Thames First Nation, and the Municipality of Strathroy-Caradoc.

West Middlesex Memorial Centre

Opened in 1953 and renovated in 2011, the West Middlesex Memorial Centre offers a variety of amenities to host your next event. The WMMC is also home to the Strathroy Rockets, the community's Jr. B hockey team.
