Event Submission Guidelines
Visit Middlesex promotes events and experiences that encourage people to explore Middlesex County and support local tourism. Events should be special experiences, one-time or limited-time offerings, or activities that visitors from outside the region would plan a trip around. Recurring weekly events or regular programming may be included at Visit Middlesex’s discretion. To be considered, your event should:
- Take place within Middlesex County, Ontario
- Be open to the public or offered as a bookable experience or package
- Offer a visitor-facing experience that someone would plan a trip around (or include in a day trip or weekend getaway)
- Appeal to tourists, day-trippers, or visitors from neighbouring regions (London, Southwestern Ontario, etc.)
Events may include festivals, workshops, markets, special attractions, seasonal experiences, guided activities, performances, or limited-time offerings.
Events that may not be listed include:
- Private or invite-only events
- Internal meetings or member-only activities
- Events that conflict with municipal by-laws or public safety requirements
Event description tips:
- Focus on the visitor experience — what makes it worth the trip?
- Keep descriptions short, clear, and written in the third person
- Highlight what makes the event unique, seasonal, or special
Social media consideration:
Submitting your event also provides an opportunity to be considered for Visit Middlesex social media features. While not all events can be promoted on social channels, submissions help our team identify experiences that align with our marketing goals. Visit Middlesex reserves the right to select which events are featured.

- All submissions are reviewed and approved at the discretion of Visit Middlesex
- We reserve the right to edit or decline submissions as needed
- You will only be contacted if additional information is required
