Lush recreational trails, adventure-filled experiences, savoury local flavours and unique accommodations are waiting to reignite your senses and fill you with wonder in your own backyard. That’s the message of the new commercial being released by Middlesex County’s Department of Economic Development this week. “Middlesex County has an abundance of unique destinations for our residents and visitors to discover; and we invite them to consider the possibilities to safely explore what is just outside their doors," said Cara Finn, Director of Economic Development and Tourism
The commercial offers viewers the chance to start imagining their next adventure and the lasting memories that will be created by taking in all that the local area has to offer. Enjoying delicious local cuisine and produce, partaking in new agri-tourism adventures, tackling a local trail, and cuddling up with your family at a drive-in theatre are just a handful of the experiences to look forward to (when the time is right).
Partnership dollars for the County’s newest promotion were provided by the Southwestern Ontario Tourism Corporation, which was filmed across several Middlesex-based municipalities. The commercial had a soft launch at Ontario’s Southwest 2021 Tourism Conference earlier this month and is now playing on YouTube and the County’s tourism website at www.visitmiddlesex.ca. The County has plans to share it extensively on social and mass media throughout Southwestern Ontario as COVID-19 restrictions are lifted in the months to come.
