Skyrie, a contemporary Celtic trio from Fife, Scotland, bring their North American tour to Arrowwood Farm for a special evening of Scottish and Irish music.
Led musically by fiddler and vocalist Lesley Thompson Smith, with Jimmy Anderson on guitar and Christopher Martin Smith on drums, whistles, bodhrán and vocals, Skyrie combine traditional music with original songs, live fiddle looping and contemporary arrangements to create a sound far bigger than three musicians might suggest.
The trio arrive in Ontario fresh from receiving a ★★★★★ Edinburgh Fringe review, with Counter Culture describing Skyrie as:
