From October 9–12, the Dorchester Fair brings four days of classic fair fun, agricultural traditions, family activities, entertainment, midway rides and plenty of delicious fair food. This year's Haunted Harvest theme adds an extra dose of autumn fun to the festivities.
There's something for everyone to discover, from livestock and 4-H competitions to homecraft exhibits, agricultural displays, local vendors and the midway.

One of the weekend's biggest traditions is the Dorchester Fair Parade, which kicks off Saturday morning at 10:30 a.m. The parade travels from the Dorchester Arena along Hamilton Road to the fairgrounds, with hundreds of spectators lining the route each year.
The fairgrounds will also be buzzing with agricultural exhibits, livestock, homecraft displays and activities throughout the weekend. And, of course, no fair visit is complete without taking a spin on the midway and grabbing a favourite fair treat!
Plan Your Visit
Friday, October 9: Free admission to the grounds; buildings closed. Midway opens at 4 p.m.
Saturday, October 10: 10 a.m.–5 p.m.
Sunday, October 11: 10 a.m.–4 p.m.
Monday, October 12: 10 a.m.–4 p.m.
Admission:
- Adults & high school students: $10
- Elementary students: $5
- Children 5 and under: Free
