2026 Winter Walk Details:
February 3 to March 20, 2026
Tuesdays-Fridays 10:00am-3:00pm
- Come and enjoy the winter scenery at the Village by going for a walk of the grounds. The Heritage buildings are closed during winter walks.
- Make sure to dress for the weather and wear proper shoes.
- Please stay on the main pathway around the Village.
- There are information signs in front of building or you can visit our Virtual Village for more pictures and history.
- When you arrive (before you go into the Village) please check-in at the Spriet Family Visitor Centre (red building outside main Village entrance).
- Washrooms are also located in the Spriet Family Visitor Centre.
- While you are here check out this year’s Winter Gallery Exhibit in the Spriet Family Visitor Center!
- Winter Walks are weather dependent. (If it is too icy or snowy we will not hold winter walks.)
- Note: The Fanshawe Conservation Area front gate (at the dam) locks daily at 4:00 p.m.
